Victims of a shooting and ambush at an Alabama emergency room have been identified as police search for the shooter.

As they arrived at a nearby hospital for treatment, the individuals involved in the Alabama nightclub shooting on Monday were forced to dodge a barrage of bullets yet again.

According to a report by Al.com, two innocent victims lost their lives and three others were injured when a group of gunmen fired shots at the Aria Restaurant and Lounge on Monday morning. The victims were identified as Markiezia Atkins, 24, and Chaveda Willis, 33. The senseless act of violence has been condemned by the police chief.

As soon as the two women and an injured man arrived at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital in a private vehicle after the shooting, two armed men tried to open fire, but fortunately, they missed their targets and nobody was harmed.

According to the report, Atkins and Willis were declared deceased upon their arrival at the hospital.

According to reports, the man who was attacked is currently in critical condition. Thankfully, the two women who were also injured in the attack are expected to survive.
