Florida-based Brooklyn Water Bagels has plans to expand into the southeast, Texas, and Michigan. The company is considering Alabama as a potential location for its expansion.
According to the CEO of the company, Daniel Smith, they are open to partnering with franchisees in all major metropolitan areas of the state, including Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, and Huntsville.
Smith stated that they are seeking skilled operators who have achieved success in their industry. He emphasized that their model is promising and they aim to further build on their accomplishments.
The fast casual restaurant chain, which focuses on breakfast, also offers lunch options. Currently, it has 15 locations in Florida, with six more locations currently in the process of being built.
Using their own water filtration system, Brooklyn Water Bagels boils their bagels in an old-world recipe before baking them in-store. This unique process results in a crispy exterior and a soft, delicious interior.
According to Smith, the restaurant provides a selection of 14 unique bagel types, each accompanied by various cream cheese spreads. His preference is the everything bagel, and for lunch, he enjoys the corned beef and spicy mustard sandwich.
Smith explained that the water used in making a New York bagel is a crucial factor in its delicious taste.
At Brooklyn Water Bagels, they take pride in serving their very own coffee, which is made using Arabica coffee beans and brewed with their in-house water system. Additionally, they have their own roastery where they roast the beans to perfection.
According to him, their iced coffee is a crowd favorite thanks to the coffee ice cubes used, which help to retain the flavor for a longer period.
According to Smith, there is still a place in the restaurant industry for chains that provide reasonably-priced menu items without compromising on quality.
The menu offers a variety of options for customers to choose from, ranging from muffins and cookies to all-day breakfast sandwiches, soups, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and hot dogs.
