Alabama’s young singer earns golden buzzer on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Montgomery’s very own Reid Wilson became a sensation after his remarkable performance on the 6th episode of season 19 of “America’s Got Talent” on July 9. The talented artist captured the judges’ and audience’s hearts, receiving the coveted golden buzzer. Reid Wilson is undoubtedly a rising star to watch out for.

With trembling nerves, the 14-year old belted out an impressive rendition of “You Don’t Own Me” by Lesley Gore. As he progressed through the song, his confidence grew, and he flawlessly hit the challenging notes, leaving the audience in awe.

As the singer’s sweet melody filled the room, even Judge Simon Cowell couldn’t help but be impressed. Closing his eyes to fully appreciate the performance, the notoriously hard-to-please judge couldn’t contain his praise. “We weren’t expecting that,” Cowell remarked.

Judge Heidi Klum extended her congratulations to the young singer on the show, appreciating her exceptional talent. She added, “I think you’re absolutely incredible.”

The singer was lucky enough to receive the golden buzzer from comedian and actor Howie Mandel.
