Alabama Democrats Accuse National Party of Discrimination in Delegate Dispute

The Alabama Democratic Party claims the Democratic National Committee is discriminating against and undermining them.

“No other state in the nation had all of their delegates appointed and taken out of the hands of the electorate and appointed to some unknown people,” said Alabama Democratic Party Chairman Randy Kelley.

Kelley argues the appointed delegates don’t accurately represent Alabama’s 70% black Democratic voters, calling it a racial issue from the top of the party.

“This immoral, unethical, racist, low down, dirty appointment of delegates by some people, who most of them don’t live in the state of Alabama, must be challenged,” Kelley stated.

The Alabama Democrats say they’ve been trying to get answers from their own for months, but have decided to address the issue publicly after receiving no response from the national party groups.

Mocobizscene has reached out to the Democratic National Committee and the Biden-Harris Campaign but has yet to receive responses.
