A woman from Georgia was killed in a car accident in Pike County

Montgomery, Alabama – A Georgia woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pike County.

Hailley E. Wolski, 25, of Adairsville, Georgia, was gravely injured when the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt she was driving collided head-on with Ramon Stroud, 80, of Goshen’s 2021 GMC Sierra pickup. The accident occurred at about 8:35 a.m. on Saturday.

Wolski was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to ALEA. She was taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, where she subsequently died as a result of her injuries.

A 1-year-old passenger in the Cobalt was hurt and was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment. Stroud was hurt as well and was taken to Troy Reginal Medical Center.

The accident occurred in Pike County 2201, approximately 10 miles east of Troy in Pike County.

Nothing else is known while Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division Troopers continue to investigate.
