A 21-year-old woman named Michelle Campbell, who hails from Starkville, has been taken into custody for her involvement in a shooting incident in Bay Branch Estates, Alabama. According to reports, Campbell had a disagreement with her 55-year-old aunt at their family home which resulted in her shooting her aunt multiple times. The victim is presently admitted to a hospital in Mobile and is in a serious condition.
Campbell was located and arrested promptly by the Starkville police after local surveillance footage was utilized. She is currently being held at the Oktibbeha County jail, charged with aggravated assault. As the investigations continue, neither Campbell nor the victim has been interviewed by the police.
