Seeking suspect in burglaries committed on MPS premises

Authorities in Montgomery, Alabama are currently seeking a suspect in connection to numerous burglaries that have taken place at various properties owned by Montgomery Public Schools.

According to Curtis Forte, the Chief of MPS Security and Safety Department, an unidentified man gained entry into a secure building situated in the 100 block of Marshall Street at approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday.

According to Chief Forte, the culprit came back at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday and made off with copper wiring, tools, and pressure washers once again.

Forte stated that the individual in question is being investigated for their involvement in other burglaries that took place at Lanier High School, Carver Elementary, and the MPS Maintenance Shop.

The authorities at Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are currently offering a cash incentive to individuals who can provide any information that may lead to the identification of the suspect.
