2022 Montgomery homicide suspect’s reward raised

After more than a year, police are still looking for a person suspected of murdering someone to death.

Diego Barrera, who is wanted for killing Carlos Jones on March 12, 2022, is still being searched for by police in Montgomery. Now, the prize has gone up for information about Barrera.

Barrera, who is 21 and Hispanic, is said to be 5 feet, 5 inches tall and about 170 pounds.

Alabello Barrera, another suspect in the case, has already been charged with capital murder. Even though the two suspects have the same last name, it is not clear if they are connected.
