According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the identity of a 62-year-old man who passed away in a collision on September 6th has been confirmed.
A collision occurred at the intersection of East Platte Avenue and South Powers Boulevard involving four cars. Three vehicles were stationary in the westbound lane on Platte when the fourth car collided with them.
When authorities arrived, they discovered a man, subsequently identified as Colorado Springs resident Dwwayne Hill, deceased on the site. According to CSPD, he was the driver of the fourth vehicle.
As per CSPD, this marks the 31st fatal traffic incident this year.
