Two people were critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in Northland

The authorities in Kansas City, Missouri are currently conducting an investigation into a severe two-vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday. The crash resulted in two individuals sustaining serious injuries, and the police department is working to determine the cause of the accident.

At approximately 3:40 p.m., there was a crash that was reported in the vicinity of NE 82nd Terrace and North Church Road, which is situated near Liberty.

According to authorities, the individual behind the wheel of a black Ford Taurus had come to a stop at the intersection of NE 82nd Terrace. However, upon pulling out onto North Church Road, their vehicle was unexpectedly hit by a maroon Chrysler which was potentially driving at an excessive speed.

Police reported that the Chrysler’s driver veered off the road, collided with a metal light pole, overturned onto the grass, and subsequently ignited.

According to authorities, the entire group of four individuals who were inside the Chrysler vehicle were observed crawling out of the car after the incident. However, it was reported that only one of them stayed behind, while the remaining three fled the scene. The driver of the car was immediately transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery from the injuries sustained during the mishap.

Both the driver and passenger who were in the Ford vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital due to severe injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the details of the crash.
