Montgomery authorities are currently investigating a double shooting that occurred recently. Reports suggest that the incident took place in the area, although further details have yet to be released.
According to officials from the Montgomery police department, they were dispatched to the 8300 block of Grand Oak Court at around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in response to a shooting. While WSFA 12 News crews arrived at the scene, it was uncertain whether the incident took place inside or outside of a house.
According to a police spokeswoman, a man and woman were discovered with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening. The injured individuals were immediately transported to the hospital for medical attention.
