Hottest months in Henry County, AL since 1895

According to NOAA data, the continental United States saw its third-hottest July since 1895 in 2022, while 20 states experienced one of their ten hottest days in the same month. The previous July was the hottest month on record worldwide.

Climate warming is causing higher temperatures and more heat records. Since 1880, the Earth’s temperature has risen by around.14 degrees Fahrenheit per decade, for a total increase of about 2 degrees Fahrenheit.

Stacker used data from the National Centers for Environmental Information to construct a list of the hottest months in Henry County since 1895. The highest average temperature in each month is used to determine the rankings. We’ve included the average county temperature, county-wide highs and lows for the month, and total precipitation for each of the hottest months listed below.
