Starting Thursday and running through Sunday, tourists will be flocking to Alabama as part of the “World’s Longest Yard Sale,” crossing state lines in search of bargains and unique finds.
Dubbed as the 127-Yard Sale, rural Route 127 will host a myriad of vendors from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. The shops will span 690 miles, offering a diverse selection of goods.
Starting from Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden, Alabama, the yard sale locations stretch northbound up to 2266 Tabor Road. The third stop can be found at the intersection of AL-176 (Lookout Mountain Parkway) and AL-68 in Collinsville, as well as Akins Shady Pines in Fort Payne.
Booths usually start operating at 8 a.m. and close in the evening. However, there is no fixed time for their operating hours.
