According to police, an attempted rape incident occurred in Inwood which led to the arrest of a man.
According to authorities, Freddie Keitt approached a 50-year-old woman from behind as she was walking on Nassau Avenue last month.
According to authorities, the victim was able to break free from the perpetrator. Reports suggest that Keitt fled the scene, however, a valuable tip from Crime Stoppers led to his eventual arrest.
According to authorities, Keitt was set free from jail in March after serving a decade behind bars for charges of unlawful imprisonment and robbery that were brought against him within the city.
According to the authorities, there could be additional victims who have not yet been identified.
