Pittsfield Police arrested two individuals in late-night drug bust

PITTSFIELD, Ill. (KHQA) — In Pittsfield, a man and a woman have been charged after law enforcement conducted a search at a residence located in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

At 10:59 p.m. on August 30th, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, Pittsfield Police Department, and West Central Illinois Task Force conducted a court-approved search warrant. Following the search, methamphetamine was found and confiscated by the officers.

The individual who was taken into custody was a direct outcome of the search warrant.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department has charged Tiffany L Higgins, aged 34, and Earl P. Black, aged 40, with unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Without any doubt, Higgins and Black were apprehended and taken to the Pike County Jail.
