NYPD seeks suspects who allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl in East Harlem

The East Harlem police department is actively seeking two suspects who are believed to have sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl on Sunday.

According to officials, the occurrence took place at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of East 113th Street and 1st Avenue, close to the Jefferson Houses.

According to the police, two suspects sexually assaulted the victim and escaped on foot in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition.

On Monday evening, the police released surveillance photos of both suspects.
