Storm causes tree to fall, temporarily blocking Roswell Road in north Atlanta

In North Atlanta, a road was briefly blocked due to a fallen tree, which required the efforts of a crew to remove it from the area.

On Saturday morning, Roswell Road was partially blocked by a large tree, as shown in video and photos sent to Channel 2 Action News.

According to the video footage, it seems that the massive tree fell on the power lines. However, Channel 2 Action News has not yet revealed the exact details surrounding the incident.

According to a spokesperson from the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, they were dispatched to the location to provide assistance. Eyewitness footage reveals that the Sandy Springs Fire Department was also on site as they collaborated to clear the road of the fallen tree.

According to Channel 2 Action News, Georgia Power has confirmed that power lines were damaged by a fallen tree. Although the damage was minimal, it caused a few customers to lose power. Unfortunately, Georgia Power officials have not provided a timeline for when the issue will be fully resolved.
