A Montgomery resident shares his experience of a home invasion involving armed intruders

According to WSFA, a Montgomery resident reported being robbed at gunpoint in his home on Monday night.

As Jared Pflugh was settling in for the evening, he heard an unexpected knock at his door.

As the knocks persisted, Pflugh initially ignored them when he couldn’t spot anyone at the door. However, he eventually assumed that it could be an emergency and decided to investigate.

Pflugh recounted the harrowing incident when she was attacked by two men who were lurking in the bushes just outside her home. As soon as she opened the door, the perpetrators pushed her down and barged into the house.

According to Pflugh, two armed men approached him and demanded money, keys, and his phone. They eventually fled in his car before authorities could arrive on the scene.

Pflugh expressed that he believed that he was going to lose his life during the ordeal.

According to the homeowner, Montgomery police did not take any fingerprints at the scene.

This case has left Pflugh on edge as police have reported that no arrests have been made yet.

“He expressed his frustration, stating that he simply wants some answers,” he said.

Pflugh has decided to stay away from his house until he feels secure enough to return. He is uncertain about when or if he will be able to go back.
