South Fulton police report a shooting incident during a fight at Waffle House

Inside a Waffle House, an altercation between two individuals resulted in one of them getting shot.

Police in South Fulton were called to the Waffle House located at 5310 Campbellton-Fairburn Road at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

According to the police, a physical altercation broke out between two individuals, which escalated into one of them using a firearm to shoot the other. The assailant fled from the scene of the incident, running towards the forested area located behind the Publix store nearby.

According to the authorities, the victim of the shooting has been taken to a nearby hospital, but no details regarding the victim’s current condition have been made public yet.
