Mississippi church may have a potential bomb, according to sheriff’s statement

Authorities were summoned to a church in Mississippi on Thursday afternoon following the discovery of a suspicious package and a note referring to a bomb, according to reports.

Sheriff Ben Caldwell of Alcorn County confirmed that a note mentioning a potential explosive device was found, leading to the closure of CR 614 and the evacuation of nearby residents in the vicinity of the church.
