Man from Georgia goes missing after traveling to Maryland to care for sick grandmother during Easter

A man from Georgia has been missing for a week since he traveled to Maryland to visit his ailing grandmother.

Andrew Mostyn Jr. was last seen on March 30 around 4 p.m., as reported by Montgomery County Police. He was leaving a residence in Silver Spring, Maryland.

According to a report from WUSA-TV, Joy Dameron, the mother of Mostyn, revealed that her son visited the National Mall in Washington, DC, and informed his grandmother that he would meet her on Sunday for Easter. However, he has been missing ever since.

“He had plans for Easter with her,” Dameron revealed to the TV station. “He had intended to wake up early, attend Easter service, and then spend the day hiding eggs with the cousins. They had also made plans for the following day.”

Mostyn didn’t come to work today, and his dog, Koda, was left alone at his house.
