Ex-trump Supporter Goes Off On Former President, Says ‘i Don’t See Anything Good About Him’

A North Carolina voter who switched from backing former President Donald Trump to Nikki Haley gave a short reason for the change.

On Tuesday, people in 15 states went to the polls to vote in the presidential primaries and other races. The end of the race at the top of the ticket is not looking very exciting. As they get ready for a second run in November, Trump and Vice President Joe Biden are likely to easily win.

Shaq Brewster from NBC News was in North Carolina on Tuesday to talk to voters about which candidates they liked best.

Someone said they would vote for Haley.

Someone else Brewster talked to said she would vote for Trump over Biden if she had to. Another woman, meanwhile, was even less excited about the idea of voting for Trump.

BREWSTER: What made you switch from Trump to Nikki Haley?

WOMAN: The man is a lunatic. And I think he’s terrible for the country.

BREWSTER: What are you thinking about when you say that?

WOMAN: Just that he lies, he cheats. He bankrupted millions of businesses and people. And I don’t see anything good about him.

BREWSTER: Let me ask, if Donald Trump is the nominee in November, do you support Joe Biden over Donald Trump?

WOMAN: No.

BREWSTER: What do you do?

WOMAN: I don’t know.

In 2016 and 2020, Trump won North Carolina. In a second Biden-Trump race, North Carolina is not likely to be competitive. CNN polling done at the polls on Tuesday shows that 62% of GOP voters think Trump is fit to be president even if he is found guilty of a crime.

The former president is being charged in four different places.
