Multiple victims in New York City overnight shooting, resulting in one fatality

Mocobizscene- According to authorities, police have taken a “person of interest” into custody following the discovery of a deceased woman in the Bronx.

The authorities declared the 38-year-old deceased at the location. The cause of death is yet to be determined as authorities are still conducting an ongoing investigation, with the city medical examiner’s office leading the inquiry.

Police reported that two separate shootings occurred in Queens and The Bronx overnight, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

Two men, aged 41 and 33, were injured when gunshots were fired around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday inside the Anemos event space in Astoria. Both individuals were struck in the leg by bullets, according to the police. According to a police spokesman, the victims were transported to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition after experiencing a gunshot and feeling pain.

No one has been arrested. The victim, described as “highly uncooperative,” was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, according to the police. So far, no arrests have been made.
