Mocobizscene- The 71-year-old man was beaten and robbed in the train, and the NYPD is looking for both of them. According to investigators, it occurred on Saturday night about 11:30 p.m.
At Broadway and West 207th Street, a man and a woman approached the victim on the southbound A train platform and requested that he unlock his phone. They forced him to the ground and grabbed his phone when he refused.
Despite facial damage, the sufferer is anticipated to recover well.
The event in the NYC subway is just one of many recent incidents that have occurred there. According to data, the NYPD reports that there has been a 22% increase in subway crime since the beginning of the year.
