Mocobizscene-14-year-old faces charges for allegedly committing 3 armed carjackings in NW DC, according to police.

According to officials from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), a 14-year-old has been arrested on Thursday, Feb. 15, in connection with three armed carjackings in Northwest D.C.
In each of the incidents, officers reported that the teenager, along with other suspects, was a passenger in a ride-share vehicle. While on the ride, the teenager brandished a handgun and demanded that the driver hand over their vehicle.
The victims in each incident cooperated with the suspects, who then fled the scene in the victims’ vehicles. Officers have confirmed that all the vehicles have been recovered.
On Thursday, a 14-year-old boy from Northwest D.C. faced charges in the following incidents:

- On Sunday, Jan. 14 at 1:20 a.m. in the 6300 block of 5th Street, Northwest
- On Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Madison Street, Northwest
- On Saturday, Feb. 3 at 8:47 p.m. in the 700 block of Madison Street, Northwest
