BRONX: Police are searching for a man who repeatedly punched a woman in the face while approaching her at a Bronx subway station.
A 29-year-old woman was observed standing on the subway platform of the 219 Street/White Plains Road Station at approximately 3 pm on February 5. According to police, a stranger approached her and began repeatedly striking her in the face.
The assailant subsequently fled the station in an unidentified direction. The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center by EMS.
The NYPD acquired surveillance footage of the suspect traversing the subway platform. Male characteristics include a mustache, a medium complexion, and a medium physique. His last known attire consisted of dark-coloured trousers, a black jacket, and white sneakers.
