NYPD: A man was struck in the head with a metal pole in Chinatown

MANHATTAN, N.Y-On a Manhattan street last month, a guy was struck in the head multiple times by a metal pipe, according to authorities on Sunday.

After a confrontation outside 83 Baxter St. in Chinatown at around 3:40 a.m. on January 30, the suspect struck the 36-year-old guy with a pipe, according to the NYPD. The sufferer was brought to the hospital for medical attention.

According to authorities, the suspect was last seen heading north on Baxter Street. Arrests have not taken place.
