Mocobizscene- Two men were killed and another is in critical condition after a shooting in Whittier on Sunday morning, according to authorities.
At 1:07 a.m. on Sunday, the Los Angeles County Fire Department contacted the Whittier police with “third hand information” about a gunshot victim near Lambert Road and Painter Avenue. Officers from the Whittier Police Department swiftly arrived at the scene of a shooting on Pointer Ave., specifically in the 8800 block.
According to a statement from the Whittier Police Department, it is currently unknown whether the victims or suspect had any prior connection to each other. Detectives are actively investigating the incident, and no further information is currently available.
