Southeast Washington, DC, fatal shooting is under investigation by the Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department. Around 5:02 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the occurrence took place. Officers from the Sixth District were called to a reported collision in traffic on the 3200 block of Southeast Pennsylvania Avenue.
The police discovered a man inside a car who had been shot when they arrived. Rufus Brown, 48, was pronounced deceased at the scene. It was said that Brown had no fixed address.
Up to a $25,000 reward is being offered by the Metropolitan Police Department for information that results in the culprit’s arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is asked to call them at 202-727-9099.
