Mocobizscene- A dog in Northeast D.C. bit a man and a police officer on Wednesday morning, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). At approximately 11:05 a.m., the MPD received a request for assistance in the 4200 block of Foote Street NE.
Upon reaching the location, law enforcement discovered a dog that had suffered a bite. It was reported that during the incident, one of the officers from the MPD was also bitten by the dog and subsequently discharged their firearm. The fate of the dog remains uncertain as officers have been unable to locate it or determine if a bullet indeed struck it.
Both the officer and the victim were taken to the hospital.
