Multiple suspects involved in an armed robbery were apprehended by state troopers from the Somerville and Perryville stations, in collaboration with officers from the Newark, Tewksbury, and Readington Police Departments.
Around 9:00 Saturday morning, February 3rd, the Newark Police Department found themselves in pursuit of a vehicle heading westbound on Interstate 78.

The vehicle came to a stop in Tewksbury, Hunterdon County, at milepost 25.4, as reported by the state police. Following that, six suspects fled on foot from the scene.
After a brief search, with the assistance of [the New Jersey State Police] K-9 and Aviation unit[s], all suspects were apprehended, and a firearm was recovered.
The troopers have chosen not to disclose any details regarding the robbery or reveal the identities of the six suspects in a social media post on Sunday afternoon.
