Mocobizscene- Miami-Dade police reported that a woman was in the middle of taking a shower when she caught sight of Juan Carlos Sequeira-Urbino, a 41-year-old man from Miami, lying on the floor and peering under the bathroom door of a residence in the vicinity of the 12000 block of Southwest 151st Street. This incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on January 15th.
According to an arrest report, the victim informed detectives about two previous incidents where she heard a commotion near the bathroom door while she was showering.
As she was showering, the woman noticed Sequeira-Urbino’s cellphone lying on the floor, according to authorities.
During a third incident, the victim recorded Sequeira-Urbino using her own cellphone as he watched her from underneath the door.
After the victim had taken a shower, the police stated that she waited in her room for her mother. It was during this time that Sequeira-Urbino approached her and asked her not to disclose the incident to her mother or his wife, according to the report.
After taking Sequeira-Urbino to the Kendall district police station in Miami-Dade, the police stated that he exercised his right to an attorney and declined to speak with the detectives during the questioning.
Sequeira-Urbino is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with no bond set as of Friday afternoon.
