Police in New Orleans arrest two for burglarizing police equipment

Mocobizscene- Two individuals, including the one behind the American Police Equipment burglary, are the subject of arrest warrants acquired by New Orleans Police for four business burglaries.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported on Sunday that they had discovered and notified the NOPD of two individuals who possessed things that matched the property taken in the four thefts.

Detectives from the NOPD went to Baton Rouge to assist the BRPD in searching the suspect’s property, where the things were kept.

The NOPD and BRPD conducted an investigation and found that the suspects were present at the location of the break-in at American Police Equipment as well as another neighboring business.

For Mindy Bohlander and Benjamin Polasky, arrest warrants were obtained. The two suspects are not from this state. Four charges of simple burglary and four counts of principal to simple burglary are covered by the obtained warrants. The suspects will be sent from Baton Rouge to New Orleans.
