Mocobizscene- A deadly shooting event at a Metro platform on Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles has sparked an intensified manhunt. The incident was reported, and the Los Angeles Police Department was sent to the location at around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
At the time of the unfortunate incident, the victim—who was estimated to be between 35 and 45 years old—was strolling with a partner towards Hyde Park station. A male suspect, according to the police, pulled out a revolver, started shooting at the victim, and then left the area before the LAPD could arrive.
The man was discovered by the officers writhing from a gunshot wound to his back. The man had passed away from his wounds despite being taken to a hospital right away. The suspect is recognized as a man who has a visible limp and is clad in blue jeans and a blue hoodie. His approximate age is thirty to twenty-five years.
Due to ongoing police investigation into the incident, the K-Line train service between Fairview Heights and Leimert Park stations has been temporarily halted. It is recommended that commuters take the Metro Bus Line 210 as an alternate route or the Metro Bus Line 40 on Crenshaw Boulevard and Florence Avenue.
As they continue to investigate the fatal incident, the police have placed the Hyde Park station under lockdown. The victim’s identity is still being kept a secret until his next of kin are notified; the L.A. County Coroner’s Office will then make that information public.
The LAPD or the detectives in the South Bureau Homicide Division are requesting that anyone with relevant information on this occurrence get in touch with them. You can contact L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers with anonymous tips.
