Mocobizscene-Two persons lost their lives in a violent car crash outside of an upstate New York entertainment venue on January 1st. A law enforcement source told ABC News that the crash is being looked at as a potential act of terrorism.
The city’s police chief, David Smith, reported that a Ford Expedition struck a Mitsubishi Outlander that was parked in the lot next to the Kodak Center in Rochester, New York, resulting in two fatalities and five injuries.
According to Smith, the collision happened on Monday, January 1, at approximately 12:50 a.m. local time, at the crosswalk, just as concertgoers were leaving the stadium.
“During a press briefing on Monday, January 1, the force of the collision caused the two vehicles to go through a group of pedestrians who were in the crosswalk, and then into two other vehicles,” stated Smith. He continued, “The crash was connected to a sizable fire that took the Rochester Fire Department over an hour to put out.
