Mocobizscene-The Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Patrol Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s help in finding Demarco Lyles from Silver Spring and Anthony Burno from Washington D.C. These individuals are wanted in connection with multiple thefts from cars and acts of vandalism that have occurred in the Chevy Chase area.
Lyles and Burno emerged as the prime suspects in the car thefts in the Chevy Chase and Chevy Chase Village areas. Over four months, from May to September 2023, it is alleged that the suspects broke into more than twenty vehicles, stole valuable items, and swiftly made their escape.
Arrest warrants were obtained on Saturday, December 9, 2023, for both suspects, who are now facing charges of theft, vandalism, and theft scheme.
