Mocobizscene-A man tragically lost his life on Wednesday during an excavation at a worksite in the Orange area.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Orange County Fire Authority dispatched firefighters to the 9800 block of South Newport Boulevard after receiving a report of a “medical emergency.”
A man, believed to have been a worker, was underground in an excavation when the incident occurred. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by the OCFA. Unfortunately, his identity remains unknown at this time.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
