Largo Shooting Claims Life of 18-Year-Old Victim

Mocobizscene- Marquise Williams, an 18-year-old from Landover, was shot and killed in Largo. The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently looking into the shooting.

The event happened on the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive on Monday afternoon at around 12:30 PM. Williams was shot in the back and discovered by responding police in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead there. After receiving treatment at a hospital, an additional adult male who had been shot was released.

Early evidence suggests that there was a gunfight during which Williams and the other person traded shots. The State’s Attorney’s Office and the Homicide Unit collaborate to evaluate possible criminal charges.
