Mocobizscene– Miguel Bravo reports to the police that a female postal worker made an inappropriate comment to an elderly client who speaks Spanish and that things got out of hand when he intervened to encourage management to take action.
On Saturday, Shintell Ford, the post office clerk at 425 Northwest 27th Avenue, was taken into custody on suspicion of robbery by abrupt snatching. After exchanging some remarks, Bravo claims that Ford reached for his phone just as he was about to start recording the incident on it. She tried to break it, he said.
Ford was freed from the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department following the posting of a $5,000 bond. The USPS has not released a comment regarding Ford’s arrest and whether or not her employment will be terminated.
