Montgomery Car Crash Victim Passes Away In Hospital After Two Days

A 42-year-old woman who was critically injured in a car accident in Montgomery earlier this week has sadly passed away at a local hospital, according to authorities.

Ashley Thompson suffered severe injuries when her 2006 Chevy HHR LT crashed near Hitching Post Lane on East Boulevard, according to the Montgomery Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Monday, prompting a response from the police department and fire medics. Maj. Saba Coleman provided details of the single-vehicle collision via email.

Thompson was taken to the hospital by first responders, but unfortunately, she passed away on Wednesday.Joshua Cortezie, a 35-year-old man from Prattville, tragically lost his life in a fatal collision on Monday evening.

The police have not yet provided any further details regarding the accident. In a tragic incident, a man from Prattville lost his life in a car crash that occurred in Montgomery.
