Multiple news reports indicate that a Quincy man’s body was discovered in an alley in Washington, D.C. on Thursday morning. Alan Chi Chen, 41 years old, has been positively identified as the man involved in the incident. The police found his body in the alley on W Street in the Northwest part of the city.
According to a report from Fox 5 TV in Washington, investigators suspect that the driver of a white Porsche dumped his body at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Wednesday. Authorities have reported that surveillance video captured an image of the driver.
Chen’s aunt revealed that he was employed in sales and would frequently travel to the area for extended periods due to work commitments. While she mentioned that the police informed her that Chen was forcibly pushed out of his own vehicle, the authorities did not provide any official confirmation of this to FOX 5.
According to Boston 25 News, the Metropolitan Police Department in the District of Columbia has stated that investigators are currently awaiting the findings of an autopsy.
According to the TV station, on November 30th, a person contacted the police to report that he had witnessed someone dropping a body out of a vehicle in the alley, as captured by his camera.
