DC Street Shooting Caught On Camera

The capital, Washington, The individuals who opened fire in the midst of a Southeast D.C. neighborhood over the weekend are being sought by the police. WUSA9 was provided with surveillance footage depicting the terrifying moments when gunfire erupted on Saturday morning. The gunshot reportedly occurred around 11:30 a.m. on November 25 in the 2400 block of Elvans Road Southeast.

Before a flurry of rapid gunfire is audible, a person is seen strolling down a sidewalk at the outset of the video that a neighbor has shared. As the individual walks down the street, they crouch and flee the frame. Neighbors can be heard shouting long before additional shots are discharged.

Following the sound of approximately ten gunfire, an individual donning a ski mask and completely clothed in black flees from a driveway adjacent to a playground. One shot is fired from the center of the street, and subsequent gunfire is audible. There are an additional eight blasts audible on the video.

The masked individual is subsequently apprehended by a white sedan, which accelerates with shrieking tires. It is presumably an Acura. No one was injured in the gunfire, according to the police, and no arrests have been made in connection with this incident as of yet.
