The Southeast region of Washington D.C. was the site of a shooting on Friday night, which is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
At approximately 10:15 p.m., authorities were dispatched to the scene of a shooting located in the 4000 block of Wahler Court, S.E. En route, they received information indicating that a male victim had been transported to a hospital by car following the incident.
Sadly, he passed away at the hospital. The authorities have identified the individual as Shane Williams, who was just 18 years old and hailed from Southeast, D.C.
