Guess who saved the day after our caterer bailed hours before our wedding?

Just hours before their wedding, a couple faced a major problem. Thankfully, one restaurant stepped in to help them out.

Immie Teed and Josh Titmouth were all set to tie the knot in Exmouth, England, when an unexpected turn of events occurred.

Just hours before their 110-guest wedding, the caterer fell ill with E. coli and had to cancel. This left the couple in a difficult situation with no time to find a replacement.

According to SWNS, Teed and her fiancé had just arrived at the wedding location when they received a call from the caterer informing them of the cancellation.

Teed reminisced about her husband’s reaction to the caterer’s actions, as Josh, who had a good understanding of the caterer, remarked, “This isn’t funny if it’s meant to be a joke.”

I couldn’t believe it when I realized that I had consumed 1,000 calories just by licking envelopes for my wedding invitations. It was an accident, of course. I had no idea that the adhesive on the envelopes was so high in calories. I was shocked and a bit dismayed to discover that my innocent task had turned into a calorie-laden endeavor. It’s important to be mindful of what we consume, even if it’s something as seemingly innocuous as envelope adhesive.

According to the caterer, he had been experiencing sickness for a few days prior to the wedding, and unfortunately, he was unable to get out of bed on the day of the ceremony.

As the wedding bells were about to chime, Teed and her fellow guests scrambled to come up with a speedy fix to feed their 110 guests.

Teed shared that one of their bridesmaids generously offered to prepare a large batch of curry for the wedding. Her mother even considered reaching out to a nearby restaurant for assistance.

Unfortunately, my excitement for my friend’s destination wedding was short-lived. After traveling 1,700 miles, I realized I had made a grave mistake: I was a year too early. The wedding was scheduled for the following year. Needless to say, I was devastated and embarrassed. Despite the mix-up, I made the most of my trip and enjoyed the beautiful location. But I learned a valuable lesson to always double-check important details when it comes to travel plans.

In an interview with SWNS, the daughter mentioned that it was her mother who came up with the idea to contact Krispies. She explained that their family has always been fond of Krispies’ food and they have always found the restaurant to be dependable.

On their website, Krispies emphasizes their careful sourcing of ingredients and commitment to freshness. They proudly state that their fish comes from sustainable stocks, their fries are hand-cut daily, and all of their food is cooked fresh to order.

Kelly Barnes, the owner of the nearby shop, drove to the wedding venue which was only 10 minutes away to offer her assistance.

According to SWNS, Barnes mentioned that the bride was extremely worried. Determined to find a solution, she decided to take action.

Barnes managed to pull off a feat by delegating tasks to her staff. She successfully delivered 110 meals just in time for the wedding, which consisted mostly of fish and fries.

The wedding reception menu also offered a variety of options to cater to different dietary requirements. Children were treated to crispy chicken nuggets while vegetarian guests indulged in a delicious veggie burger paired with crispy fries.

According to SWNS, Barnes reminisced about his amazing team who went above and beyond their duties, with some of them even staying back after their shifts to offer further assistance.

According to Teed, the guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and she expressed her gratitude for the person who saved the day.
