Four people were injured in a car accident on Jasper Highway 41

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. – A car accident involving many vehicles occurred near Jasper on Thursday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m., the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper Fire Department, and Kimball Fire Department all responded to the crash.

The collision occurred on Highway 41 in the parking area of R&R Bait & Tackle.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation said Thursday morning that the incident had closed all lanes of Tennessee Highway 41.

Several people were injured, and four people were taken to the hospital by emergency personnel.

The degree of their injuries, however, was not disclosed by authorities.
