Federal Investment of $50 Million in Wiregrass Infrastructure

The Wiregrass region is expected to receive federal funding in excess of $50 million. This funding is designated for a number of significant infrastructure initiatives in Dothan, Ashford, and Fort Novesel.

Dothan will receive approximately $7.75 million. This sum will go toward the construction of a new municipal auditorium. Ashford will receive approximately $1.63 million. This amount will fund significant improvements to the city’s water system.

Fort Novosel has finally been allocated $20 million. This amount will be allocated to various initiatives. The construction of new storage facilities for vehicle repair and aircraft parts will be a major focus of these projects, emphasizing the importance of transport and logistics infrastructure.
