Montgomery County’s Sole Kids For Less Retail Space Becomes Available
The space occupied by Montgomery County’s only Kids For Less clothing store is now available for lease, according to reports.
The retailer specializes in school uniforms and accessories for children.
The exit by Kids For Less from the 6,562 square foot space would be a setback for the six-level urban mall in downtown Silver Spring, where management has reported a slew of good news for the past six months.
Both first reported by the Montgomery Business Scene, property managers at Ellsworth Place announced over the summer that a food hall would arrive in 2022, taking over the former Forever 21 Red space.
That was followed by news that DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse would be moving from its current space at the Peterson-owned Downtown Silver Spring project and across the street to the Ellsworth Place mall.
Kids For Less management could not be reached for comment at the time of writing, but the store was also closed to the public despite falling on reported operating hours.
Clifton, N.J.-based Kids For Less has three stores in the D.C. metro area with the other two being in Prince George’s County.
