A new to the area fitness center focused on high-intensity interval, circuit and functional training is expected to open a third location in Montgomery County.

Austin, Texas-based F45 Training (NYSE: FXLV) recently opened a location in downtown Silver Spring at 8250 Georgia Ave. The first location in the County opened at 4800 Auburn Avenue in downtown Bethesda in December 2016.

The next location in the County is expected to open in Olney in the Fair Hill Shopping Center at 18100 Town Center Drive, Unit 8115.

Pricing depends on location, but the Drop In pass costs $35 at the Silver Spring location and up to $45 for weekly Tier 1 Foundation Membership.

The 3,200 square foot space will be next door to a Club Pilates in the Harris Teeter-anchored shopping center formerly known as Olney Town Center.

F45 Training uses a franchise-based boutique model with over 3,011 sold. The F stands for functional training, including a mix of circuit and HIIT style workouts that last for 45 minutes. It’s one of the fastest growing franchises ranking number eight, according to 2021 Entrepreneur Media Inc.

The Mark Wahlberg-backed fitness center has a market capitalization of approximately $1.06 billion.
