A man is in critical condition during a shooting on Friday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montgomery Police Department is looking into a shooting that happened Friday night and left a man in critical condition.

There aren’t many details, but MPD says that around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, officers went to a hospital in the area after hearing that someone had been shot. At the hospital, police saw that the man had been hurt so badly that he could die.

Police say it is not clear where the killing happened.

There is no additional information. An investigation is ongoing.
