Five suspects have been apprehended by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a robbery and shooting that occurred in the Gantt region, resulting in one person being wounded.
The individual in the image is identified as Quabias Nyjuan Jackson.
Sheriff Blake Turman has reported that the individual who was shot is currently in critical condition, as per the latest update from the regional trauma center.

Following extensive forensic investigation and interviews, the CCSO has secured first-degree robbery warrants for Quabias Nyjuan Jackson (22) from Troy, Lydorian Tiquan Hodges (19) from Troy, Ramone Tyvon Smith Jr. (20) from Andalusia, Lorenzo Armon Whatley (24) from Troy, and Le’vonte Jacquez Webb (23) from Troy.
According to Sheriff Turman, there is a possibility of additional charges as the investigation moves forward and the victim’s condition is evaluated.

On the evening of October 12th, law enforcement officials were dispatched to respond to an incident that occurred at around 11:50 p.m.

Each of the five suspects has been placed in custody and booked at the county jail, with a bond amount of $150,000 set for each individual.
